Warning, Contains Movie Spoilers And Plot Details (However Doesn’t Give Away Ending)

Just got back from watching Skyline, here is my not in detail review of the movie. Here we go.

The movie starts with the ‘blue lights’ falling from the sky which are prominent in the trailer, these to which we first assume are the ‘aliens’ or something along the lines. The lead characters are first shown in a bedroom of a high-rise apartment building, those being Jarrod played by Eric Balfour and Elaine played by Scottie Thompson.

The characters don’t awake suddenly despite the enormous earthquake like shaking of the building and the brightest light you can imagine, they seem pretty calm, and the acting of both of these plainly shows from the beginning what you can expect, mediocre performances from some what unknown actors.

Despite the terrible acting which is thrust upon is at the beginning, there is hope as one of the minor characters Terry who is played by Donald Faison the loved Scrubs actor. However his appearance is short lived, as his demise is coming straight from the beginning.
